Transparent carbon accounting at product level is rapidly gaining importance in the construction industry – especially for OEMs managing complex supply chains and material flows. In the current LECTURA DigiMessenger (October 2025), Telusio founder Dr. Johannes Weibl talks about how companies can calculate their Product Carbon Footprints (PCF) in line with ISO, report efficiently and at the same time prepare for the upcoming Digital Product Passport.
“If it’s on your bill of materials, we can calculate it – even if supplier data is missing or incomplete.”
dr. johannes weibl, founder and managing director of telusio
Telusio develops digital solutions that derive the PCF automatically from company data, identify emission hotspots and generate reports in accordance with ISO 14067 and the GHG Protocol.
This gives OEMs the basis both to steer sustainability targets and to meet the requirements of the Digital Product Passport early on.
The full interview was published in the LECTURA DigiMessenger (issue 21) and offers an exciting insight into the current state of carbon transparency in the construction industry.
“Our goal is clear. We want sustainability to no longer be a project, but routine – automated, auditable and differentiating in the market.”
dr. johannes weibl, founder and managing director of telusio
