Sustainability and Resource Efficiency

When developing components, machines and plants, resource efficiency is a decisive aspect. Care is often taken to build machines and plants that use resources particularly sparingly. One of our customers pays close attention to significantly reducing energy, cooling water and packaging consumption in new products.

An often still neglected but increasingly important perspective is reducing negative environmental impacts.

How can I reduce the carbon footprint of the materials I use and the machines I manufacture?

✅ Use of alternative materials

✅ Optimisation of my manufacturing processes

Both can be evaluated most objectively using a hotspot analysis of my products’ CO2 emissions.

With every Product Carbon Footprint of a component or plant, I shed more light on CO2 emissions and am able to set up a sustainable design guideline. This forms the data-based, objective basis for decisions to operate (even) more resource-efficiently in future.
