We are delighted that our solution has been included in the “Digital Procurement Excellence” (DPE) shortlist of the consultancy SWISS IPG PARTNERS GROUP. This recognition underlines that sustainability in procurement has long been more than a trend.

SWISS IPG: guidance in the digital transformation of procurement

The consultancy SWISS IPG PARTNERS GROUP is a recognised specialist in TWIN transformation – the simultaneous digital and sustainable development of procurement, supply chain and organisation.

With the ToolMap DPE, SWISS IPG gives procurement managers a systematic instrument to identify and evaluate digital solutions in a targeted way. The map covers more than 70 concrete use cases along operational, tactical and strategic procurement processes – and filters out around 60 particularly relevant tools from more than 500 providers. Our solution is one of them.

For companies, this means: guidance when selecting tools, clarity about potential and confidence in investment decisions – in a market that is becoming increasingly dynamic.

Our solution: automated carbon transparency along the supply chain

Our platform combines artificial intelligence with automated Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) calculation according to ISO 14067 and the GHG Protocol. It detects and fills in missing material, weight and emission data and calculates reliable Scope 3 emissions from it – even for complex bills of materials with numerous purchased parts.

What used to be time-consuming and error-prone with manual spreadsheets becomes automated, scalable and standard-compliant with our solution. This makes carbon transparency in procurement not only practicable but an integral part of strategic supplier decisions. Companies can manage their procurement economically while measuring and implementing decarbonisation targets in a targeted way – a decisive step towards more sustainability in the supply chain.

Conclusion: thank you, SWISS IPG

We sincerely thank SWISS IPG PARTNERS GROUP for recognising our solution in the DPE shortlist. This step motivates us to continue driving digital carbon transparency together with procurement managers – for more efficiency, sustainability and competitive advantage.
