What opportunities and challenges do companies experience when calculating PCFs?

This is the question we addressed in our annual PCF survey. To get closer to the answer, our study surveyed around 100 machinery and plant manufacturers across Germany.

One important finding is the maturity of PCF recording. While 42% of respondents have calculated the Product Carbon Footprint of one of their products once, only 15% carry out this calculation regularly. Respondents range from component manufacturers to plant builders with revenues between €100 million and €3 billion, from batch size 1 to series production.
